Dinner Detectives is collaboration between two dads with a passion for children’s storytelling. Author Yves Stening and illustrator Nigel Buchanan met at the school that their children attend.

Both were motivated to create children’s history books that were inspired by the diversity of multicultural cities. Dinner Detectives explores how different cultures and histories have shaped the food that we all enjoy in today.
